Hi, my name is Robert but my friends call me “R Man.” I am an oceanographer and work at a local ocean institute. I haveBachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology. I am currently studying ocean patterns that are affecting the overpopulation of sharks on the East and the West Coast. It is an exciting job and sometimes dangerous. I have had some close calls on dives lately and the more I see them, the more I am amazed by them. When I am not in the water, I am usually at a computer inputting data and running reports. I work long hours, so I am not married yet. I do have a wonderful supportive girlfriend, Kate and she is my rock. In our free time together, we go on “diving” dates and check out coral reefs and the beautiful fish that live there. We also enjoy wind surfing and just laying on the beach.
